You’re Invited…

The Midcoast Center for Higher Education Student Association and USM student, Mike Clarke are hosting a community event with Repower Maine!

We’re inviting students, faculty, staff, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and Repower Maine members for an informal discussion about comprehensive energy and climate change legislation in Congress.

Please join us:
University College Bath Brunswick, Room 112
9 Park St. Bath, ME
Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 7 PM – 9 PM
RSVP

This is your opportunity to learn more about the issues, what Repower Maine is doing in our community, and get to know others who are concerned about these issues. There is an urgent need to enact legislation to transition to clean energy generation, create millions of green jobs, and slow the devastating effects of climate change.

Repower Maine is a local, grassroots campaign focused on passing comprehensive energy and climate change legislation through Congress this year, which will:
• Create hundreds of thousands of green-collar jobs for Mainers
• End our dangerous dependence on foreign oil
• Reward innovation & job creation
• Slow the threat of climate change.

We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
