Midcoast Senior College Summer Excursion 2009
Tripping Through the World of Art: Then & Now
The Farnsworth Museum and the Olsen House

8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Our group meets at the college (9 Park Street in Bath) at 8:30 am and travels to Cushing and Rockland by school bus. Our first stop will be at the Olsen House in Cushing, the site of many of Andrew Wyeth’s paintings, including his most famous, Christina’s World (1948).
At 1:00 pm, following a luncheon at a restaurant of your choice in Rockland, there will be a docent-guided tour of the Farnsworth Museum. The balance of time at the museum, including the near-by Wyeth Center featuring works of Jamie Wyeth, will be self-guided. We will return to Bath between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
Cost:
$20.00 for MSC members.
$25.00 for non-members.
