UMA/UMPI Elementary Teacher Preparation Program
University College at Bath/Brunswick offers students the option to earn accreditation for elementary education certification through the University of Maine at Presque Isle/University of Maine at Augusta Elementary Teacher Preparation Program, which is designed for those who cannot commute to a UMS campus and enroll in a traditional teacher education program.
The program offers options for people who don’t yet have a bachelor’s degree as well as for those who currently have a degree but wish to prepare for a teaching career. The curriculum adheres to the State of Maine Department of Education Requirements.
