Maine's Public Universities - University of Maine System

Associate of Science in Business Administration
The University of Maine at Augusta

The University of Maine at Augusta’s Associate of Science in Business Administration is available at University College Centers* and sites statewide. The program prepares students for entry-level employment opportunities in management or accounting after successfully completing the degree program. It also provides the first two years of The University of Maine at Augusta’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

While the program emphasizes business-related subjects, it also provides a strong liberal arts component with courses in college writing, communication, the humanities, and the social sciences. Within the business area students may elect a concentration in accounting, management, or small business.

The curriculum is designed to allow maximum transferability to a baccalaureate program. However, the receiving institution makes the final decision on the transfer of credit. Those who plan to transfer to specific institutions and programs should work closely with advisors from those institutions in selecting courses at The University of Maine at Augusta.
