The University of Maine at Augusta’s Associate of Science in Financial Services degree is available at University College Centers* and sites statewide. This program is aimed at developing the skills, knowledge, and abilities you need to secure a career in the rapidly expanding field of financial services.
Students are ensured a well-rounded education, with specialized study in financial services complemented by a general education core curriculum, business core curriculum, liberal arts courses, and electives. Courses are designed to emphasize practical applications, and an internship in financial services is recommended.
Students who earn this degree will qualify for jobs in the financial services sector: banking, insurance, investments and corporate finance, or you can transfer into The University of Maine at Augusta’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or other business concentrations.

$40 non-refundable application fee
high school transcript or GED test scores
all official college transcripts
placement tests in reading, writing, and mathematics (unless waived by the Admissions and Records Office)
appropriate documentation of immunization history (if born after 1956)
