PowerPoint and Video

How to do it

PowerPoint is a powerful presentation graphics program that allows you to incorporate text, graphical elements, clip art, and images. Faculty have used PowerPoint presentations for courses delivered in a wide variety of formats, including ITV, compressed video, videotape, streaming video, and Blackboard.

See our Guidelines for Using PowerPoint with Video for formatting guidelines we've found to be most effective when using Powerpoint over video.

2. Title and image (National Archives Web site, Documents and Photographs Related to Japanese Relocation During World War II)

3. Graphical elements

4. PowerPoint used in a streaming video presentation (notice that color choice and font sizes are critical)
