May Courses offer Convenience, Variety

Students working on degree programs and those simply interested in taking courses for personal enjoyment will find a wide variety of university offerings starting in May through University College . Courses for college credit range from creative writing to criminal justice, children’s literature to women’s studies, as well as a host of others.

Most courses will be offered via ITV, videoconference, and online. ITV and online courses also will be available at sites state-wide. Students new to online instruction can receive hands-on assistance and support from University College’s experienced staff.

In addition to university courses, University College centers provide personalized support for students, particularly to those beginning college for the first time. Center advisors help students apply for financial aid, gain admission to degree programs, register for classes, order textbooks, and much more.

Registration is open and ongoing for all summer session courses. May course start dates and length of sessions vary. Please contact University College at 1-800-868-7000 or visit www.learn.maine.edu/courses.
