Work-Study/Volunteer Opportunties
Are you interested in working this fall at the University College at Rockland as an Office Assistant or Computer Lab Assistant?
Work-Study
If your financial aid package includes a summer or fall work-study award and you are interested in working at the center, please contact Althea Simeone (asimeone@maine.edu) to apply for a position. If you are not planning to use your work-study award please notify the UMA or USM Financial Aid Office so that the money can be reallocated to other students.
Volunteer
Students who are not financially eligible for a work-study award may apply as a volunteer. Volunteers who complete 120 hours of service in such positions as Office Assistant or Computer Lab Assistant are eligible for a three credit hour UMA course tuition waiver. Please contact Althea Simeone (asimeone@maine.edu) for more information or to apply.
Work-Study and Volunteer positions provide valuable work experience that can be used later on a resume! Work opportunities include early morning and afternoon positions as an Office Assistant or Computer Lab Assistant, and evening hours as a Computer Lab Assistant or Night Lock-Up Person.
